ORIGINALITY

I am so frustrated it makes me want to scream!

Okay so maybe I am over reacting just a bit or maybe it is just a monster case of jealousy but I seriously feel frustrated.

What’s all the hub bub about?

Creativity!

The one thing I covet more than anything else, it makes me batty.

So I follow a couple of completely random blogs:

http://cheriemask.typepad.com/maskfam/

http://www.camilleroskelley.typepad.com/

http://www.capturedbymikki.com/blog/

These ladies not only have the perfect homes, families, projects/crafts and photography but they also have time to eloquently blog about it.

I am completely enthralled as I scroll through their lives and ask “Why can’t I be like that?”

For those who really know me you might be saying “What are you talking about! You are totally creative!”

But then I must say “Ah Ha! I have you fooled!” Because any project that I do, pose I create in the camera, treat that I bake is an idea stolen from someone else.

I want to be the person who comes up with these “CUTE!” ideas.

I ask myself “Are there classes on being creative? Can I sign up for that?”

I want to be ORIGINAL!

Sigh!

Christmas 2009

Growing up I have always been so blessed with gifts on Christmas but I would always feel bad that by the next day I had forgotten some of the things I had received. So I began the tradition of taking pictures of everyone in the family in front of the tree with ALL of their gifts. I thought I would share with you some of my Christmases past and present.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and are so grateful for all those who bless our lives.

Boiseeeeeeeeeeeeee Staaaaaaaaate!

When I married Jeremy I had never watched a football game in my life. I had no idea what it was about, but then I was introduced to the magic that is Boise State Football. I just have to post and say how proud I am for my team Boise State for winning the Fiesta Bowl for the second time. Funny thing is, neither Jeremy nor I attended Boise State, but my father in-law did and so he has indoctrinated us and honestly if you have ever seen them play you would not be able to resist either. They are a rare breed, the only team left willing to risk their necks on trick plays and their coach Chris Peterson is just a classy guy. Many of you may know that Boise State was allowed to play in the BCS Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in 2007 at which they completed two amazing trick plays: the “Hook and Ladder” and the “Statue of Liberty” helping them pull out the game in overtime and titling it (according to ESPN) “The Best Game of All Time”. I am proud to say that I WAS THERE!

and I would have been there this year as well if I didn’t have a sweet little 5 month old to take care of. We are sad that the college football season is over but look forward to the excitement next year will bring. And currently at 14-0 I will be there when they finally allow Boise State to go to the long deserved National Championship!
